My Handmaid
My Handmaid and I had a ritual the other day. I still feel as if it may be my fault that we have not had a baby yet. I have had an urge the last few days. It is not what one may think. I only want to play Scrabble with her. I have been very upset for some time, as if this life may not be what the Lord intended for anyone. Perhaps I shall try to conceive at night, away from all of this, including my wife, yet that is more a title than a truth. We are both unhappy, it is no secret. Why must we live like this? I am sure that it will all be sorted out soon.
